Over at Sara's blog, I share my process making two mini's using Tula Pink's Cartwheels pattern (my two little gymnastics enthusiasts LOVE the name!) I made the rainbow version shown here as well as one using Lotta Jansdotter's Bella fabrics.
This one has already found a home right next to my first EPP mini quilt that I just realized that I never actually quilted! Hmm . . .
LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors. How did you quilt it, Free motion?
ReplyDeleteI went on over and I love both your versions. Congrats on conquering the curved seam!
ReplyDeleteThis is just divine. Love the colours and the designs. I don't know why I have it in my head that I can only make bed quilts when mini quilts (a) are quicker and (b) can hang on your wall to make you smile every time you walk past. I must add some to my burgeoning to-do list!
ReplyDeleteLooking great Beth, I love both versions but I think my favourite is the aqua blue/grey and I particular like the text fabric :)
ReplyDeleteLove em both, but the rainbow one is my fave ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful, Beth! I love that you made them into minis!
ReplyDeleteSo in love with the cartwheels! The colours are gorgeous!! =D
ReplyDeleteLove both of your cartwheels, Beth!!! Your curve piecing looks great, beautiful fabric colours and prints - your quilting looks fantastic as always.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Beth! Your piecing looks fabulous and what great bright colours!
ReplyDeleteAdorable and I dont think the EPP needs quilting, it looks sweet
ReplyDeleteGorgeous rainbow mini and you were obviously super keen to put the other one straight on the wall and who can blame you!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! I haven't done any EPP yet, is it hard on the hands?
ReplyDeleteOooh, LOVE it, Beth! Love those colours against the greys!
ReplyDeleteOh WOW!! I love it!! The colour against the greys is just awesome!! You know how I love a rainbow ;)
ReplyDeleteChecked out your post Beth, you really did battle those curves into submission :) Love them both.
ReplyDeleteI love both of your minis, they turned out so beautiful! Both color schemes work out really well on the gray background. Your circle quilting looks so good!
ReplyDeleteI've left a comment over at Sara's but wanted to pop by and tell you here as well just how much I love your two minis - and especially the blue/grey colour scheme! Cobngratulations on beating curves and on two beautiful quilts - inspiring!
ReplyDeleteLove the cartwheels Beth!! It looks fabulous. I am going over to Sara's blog now :)
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I love the colours you've chosen :)
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful cartwheel mini - gorgeous neutrals for the background, too!
ReplyDeleteI love them Beth, you made me want to make one!
