Last week I had the rare opportunity for some child-free travel with my husband. He had a conference in Arizona so I tagged along and spent a few days just relaxing, reading, and hiking. I even got to meet a few of my blogging friends in person - Alyssa, Danny, and Cristy.
And just so this post isn't completely devoid of any sewing, here are some pics of a scrappy panel I made last week. I really reached far into my scrap drawer for this and used many fabrics I haven't seen in quite a long time.
Wow - super lucky you! Looks like you had a fab time x
ReplyDeleteOooh, I'm jealous. That's a part of the country I've never seen!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and I love the scrappy panel!
ReplyDeleteSounds fun!
ReplyDeleteWhere is that fun IG photo of you then?! ;-)
ReplyDeleteNice. I enjoyed hiking in Sedona. One of the best trips we had there :-)
ReplyDeleteWow! Those scenic pictures are gorgeous! (And the quilt is pretty cool too, LOL!)
ReplyDeleteOooooh scrappy quilts are my favourite! I have so many, it's a travesty that I haven't made up anything using them yet!
ReplyDeleteArizona looks cool - I've been invited to join some friends there for a mini break from this never ending Canadian winter. Fingers crossed I can make it!
Oh lucky you! Good weather and quilting friends, sounds like heaven!
ReplyDeleteLooks hot and it's not raining! Lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteYep, that looks pretty familiar! :)
