Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day

It is the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day!  If you are new to Plum and June - welcome!!!

This giveaway is from Tactile Fabrics - have you visited this shop?  They stock such a fun variety of fabrics including Bella and Chicopee as well as some organic fabrics from Birch and Cloud 9 and many beautiful custom bundles.  And I was excited to see that they have some Chicopee corduroy too!




One lucky person will win the pictured bundle of 9 fat quarters which includes my favorite Bella print as well as some Velocity and Monaluna.  You have 3 chances to win!

  21. That is my favorite Bella print too! I read lots of urban fantasy so I'm reading Jim Butcher's new book Cold Days next. If uf interests you then check out Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse series. It is one of my favorites.

  49. I just got to review a great baking book (haven't even posted about it yet!) called "how to be a Breadhead" and it's definitely the best beginner's bread baking book I've seen. I'm trying to decide if I am willing to share it with my SIL or if I need to buy her a copy of her own!

  56. I recently devoured the Graceling series by Kristin Cashore. It's great world building, fantastic characters, and really well crafted relevant plots. Great for both adults and younger readers

  57. The last book I finished for fun was "The Age of Innocence" by Edith Wharton. It's actually highly depressing, though lovely, so if that's not your thing, then I recommend "Bossypants" by Tina Fey, which is what I'm reading now. I'm pretty sure I kept the occupants of the apartment above me awake last night because of laughing. :)

  61. Thats a great bundle of fabric, thanks for the giveaway. I love books by Terri Blackstock. She writes Christian mysteries which are my favorite. But she also writes other genres too. She is an excellent writer.

  90. My favourite books to read are the vintage crafting ones, but I picked up my husbands "The Republic of Pirates" - and I can't put it down. So good. It's a history of real pirates in the Caribbean and it's just fascinating.

  104. If you like romances then the Yellowstone series by Peggy L. Henderson is a great read. Some of them are time travel, but done wonderfully. I love this series. Great fabrics. Who doesn't love these colors.
